Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an image monitoring system and a method for operating the same. The image monitoring system is capable of efficiently monitoring an image in certain space such as a ski resort. The image monitoring system comprises: a camera to set an identifier to a person appeared while a slope is photographed, and to generate and to transmit an event and an alarm if a motion of the identifier is not detected for a certain time while the motion of the identifier is tracked; and a first image receiving device to display an identifier image to which the event and the alarm are generated at the same time displaying a slope-photographed image that is photographed by the camera.
