The purpose of the present invention is to synthesize a novel zinc complex compound consisting of α,ω-alkane-dicarboxylate and 1,2-bis(4-pyridyl)ethane ligands and figure out a structure, thermal stability, and fluorescence characteristics of the complex compound, and characteristics as a carbon dioxide absorbent.
