Zusammenfassung: | The present invention relates to a colloidal silica binder for an anti-fouling paint, a manufacturing method thereof, and an anti-fouling paint composition including the same. More specifically, the present invention relates to an environmentally friendly colloidal silica binder for an anti-fouling paint which is applied in order to prevent attachment and growth of marine organisms as a top coat of a coating film is coated on a hull outside and in underwater structures; to a manufacturing method thereof and to an anti-fouling paint composition including the same. According to the present invention, the colloidal silica binder can exhibit low frictional properties (foul release type) by physical properties of silicon materials per se such as a low surface energy of the coated film, elasticity and slippery surface, and hydrophilicity control using an allyl polyether modified silicon chloride intermediate. Accordingly, basic anti-fouling properties against marine lives can be exhibited. Furthermore, hydrolysis by seawater is possible by applying an alkoxy diurethane polysiloxane intermediate, thereby supplementing a long term anti-fouling property which is a disadvantage of the existing silicon anti-fouling paints. Moreover, the anti-fouling paint composition in accordance to the present invention does not contain cuprous oxide and other organic anti-fouling agents, thus can be used as an environmentally friendly anti-fouling paint composition. |
