OVERHEAD HOIST SYSTEM

A returning system is disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the returning system comprises a rail system, a carrier unit, and a branch roller unit. The rail system, including driving rails, and diverging and converging rails which connect each of the driving rails, has a straight driving branch guide and a curve branch guide. The straight driving branch guide guides straight driving in branch areas where the driving rails and the diverging and converging rails are connected whereas the curve branch guide guides diverged driving. The carrier unit installed on the driving rails to be driven returns an item from the start to the destination. The branch roller unit includes branch rollers which are installed on the carrier unit to be moved up and down by rotation in order to selectively operate either the straight driving or the diverged driving. When the carrier unit enters the branch areas, branch rollers positioned at the center among the branch rollers guide diverged driving by being in contact with and supported by the curve branch guide.
