Zusammenfassung:A method and an apparatus for assigning tasks are disclosed. The method for assigning tasks comprises the steps of: receiving a set of tasks; modifying a deadline for each task based on execution order relationship of the tasks; ordering the tasks in increasing order based on the modified deadlines for the tasks; partitioning the ordered tasks using at least one of non-preemptive scheduling and preemptive scheduling based on a type of multicore processing environment; and assigning the partitioned tasks to one or more cores of a multicore electronic device based on the partitioning results.
