Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a welding training apparatus based on virtual reality to provide a perfect real environment by allowing a trainee to experience not only smoke, but also sound and smell under virtual reality. In a virtual welding simulation apparatus including a display unit to virtually display an object to be welded, a controller to transmit shape information of the virtual object to be welded to the display unit in accordance to a user′s manipulation, at least one welding unit including at least one detecting unit to transmit pressure information and location information to the controller by operating the detecting unit in accordance to the manipulation of the user, the display unit includes: a smell discharging unit to discharge the smell when the user manipulates the welding unit; and the controller includes a program input unit to determine the type of welding for a virtual training by receiving a user′s input, and a synchronization unit to reproduce a welding smell by calculating the shape information of the virtual object to be welded based on the pressure information and the location information received from the welding unit, transmitting the calculation result to the display unit while calculating the smell information in accordance to the welding type, and transmitting the calculated result to the smell discharge unit. When a plurality of welding units are provided, the synchronization unit synchronizes the shape information of a plurality of virtual objects to be welded and calculated in accordance to a manipulation of each welding unit, and the controller and the welding unit wirelessly communicate with each other.
