Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a composition for selecting Korean native Gotgam chamoe (dried persimmon melon) variety from cultivar oriental melon variety containing a material which measures one or more gene expression levels selected from a group consisting of a CmDAHPS gene, a CmDHQS gene, a CmEPSPS gene, a CmCS gene, a CmAS gene, a CmIGPS gene, and a CmTS gene. In addition, the present invention relates to a kit and a method for the composition mentioned above. The method for selecting Korean native Gotgam chamoe variety not only can develop and produce novel oriental melon varieties but also can be usefully used as a biomarker to protect native Gotgam chamoe variety as valuable genetic resources.
