A method of controlling access in an electronic device according to various embodiments of the present disclosure may include an operation in which an access control module in a first area among areas of the electronic device, obtains a unique identifier of an application from a second area in response to an access request to resources of the application existing in the second area; an operation of determining whether the unique identifier is in an access control list; and an operation of approving access to the resources when the unique identifier is in the access control list.
