Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a composition for adsorbing pollutants including byssal thread powder and shell powder of mussels and, more particularly, to a composition for adsorbing pollutants including the byssal thread powder and shell powder of mussels as effective components; to use thereof; and to a composition for purifying wastewater. The powder of the byssal threads and shells of mussels according to the present invention has a capacity for significantly adsorbing heavy metals and organic toxic matters, thus being effectively used for producing the composition for adsorbing pollutants or the composition for purifying wastewater.
