Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to an apparatus for controlling the control rod of a reactor to minimize vibration and noise generated in driving the control rod of a reactor, and a method thereof. An apparatus for controlling the control rod of a reactor according to an embodiment of the present specification includes a sound detection part which detects noise generated in driving the control rod of a reactor; a vibration detection part which detects vibration generated in driving the control rod of the reactor; a control part which controls the step angle of a step motor according to the detected noise and vibration, and generates a control signal which controls the maximum value of a current applied to the step motor; and a motor driving part which controls the step motor according to the control signal.
