Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a battery for an electric vehicle. More particularly, the present invention relates to a cell module assembly which increases capacity and power while reducing the volume and the weight by changing the insertion direction of battery cells from a vertical direction to the horizontal direction. According to the present invention, the battery cells are horizontally inserted, thereby improving an insertion direction for inserting a second battery cell into an EV battery module which has a structure which is different from the structure of an HEV battery module.
