The disclosed thermosetting organosiloxane compound is a reaction product of a siloxane polymer having a silanol terminal group and an acid anhydride and has a carboxylic acid terminal group. The siloxane polymer is a silsesquioxane-based polymer prepared through hydrolysis and condensation polymerization of at least one silane compound.
