The present invention relates to a method for providing a multi-party remote monitoring service capable of providing a remote monitoring service to multiple users by using a robot, and a remote monitoring system therefor. The method for providing a multi-party remote monitoring service using a robot in a remote monitoring system according to the present invention comprises a first transmitting step of obtaining a captured image from a robot and transmitting the obtained robot captured image to a first communications terminal having authority to control the robot; a sharing request step of receiving a request for sharing the robot with a second communications terminal from the first communications terminal; a second transmitting step of transmitting a robot control interface and the obtained robot captured image to the second communications terminal; and a control information transmitting step of receiving robot control information from the second communications terminal through the robot control interface and transmitting the received robot control information to the robot.
