IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR OPERATING THE SAME

The present invention relates to an image display device and an operating method thereof. The operating method of the image display device according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises the following steps of: receiving a left eye image from a first source; receiving a right eye image from a second source different from the first source; displaying a three-dimensional image using the received left eye and right eye images; restoring a lost image using a previously stored depth map when an error which has an allowable value or greater occurs in any one of the received left eye and right eye images; and displaying the three-dimensional image using the restored image. As a result, user convenience can be improved.
