Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a method for decoding an image, capable of supporting basic and enhanced layers. The method for decoding the image includes the steps of: inducing reference data for intra prediction for a present prediction unit (PU) of the enhanced layer; and creating a predicted value of the present PU by performing the intra prediction for the present PU using the reference data. The reference data are induced from pixels of the basic layer or the enhanced layer, which serve as the pixels of a PU adjacent to the present PU. The adjacent PU may include left-upper, upper, right-upper, left, and left-lower PUs adjacent to the present PU.
