Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a monitoring system using a moving vehicle traveling along a rail and a method thereof and, more particularly, to a method of determining the location of a block and moving vehicle using a block supporter equipped with a sensor unit. The monitoring system using a moving vehicle traveling along a rail is a monitoring system using a plurality of moving vehicles traveling along a rail along a plurality of block supporters arranged in series. The present invention comprises: the block supporters equipped with sensor units at regular interval on the inner wall; a database server having a table storing the location of block supporters, installed outside; and the moving vehicles having a control device for acquiring the location of moving vehicles by receiving the location of the block supporters based on identification information received from the database server as the sensor unit receives the identification information and transfers the same to the database server. According to the monitoring system using moving vehicles traveling along the rail and the method thereof, a corresponding moving vehicle among a plurality of moving vehicles can be easily and safely found in a large workspace.
