Zusammenfassung:	A method for driving a discharge switch for an impulse generator, which is a solenoid switch including a driving coil modeled on an equivalent electric circuit in which a driving coil resistance and an inductor are connected in series to each other and includes the following steps of: (a) charging a charging capacitor through a charging resistor with a voltage of a DC power source higher than a rated voltage such that the related voltage is applied to the driving coil; (b) allowing electric charges charged in a capacitor to flow through the driving coil by a switch which is turned on; and (c) transferring the electric charges stored in the capacitor of the impulse generator by operating a movable electrode included in the driving coil.
