APPARATUS FOR AUTOMATIC EDITING OF PLAYLIST AND METHOD THEREOF

Disclosed are a device for automatically editing a playlist and a method thereof capable of automatically arranging the playlist according to user preference when a plurality of content playlists related to a specific item in a multimedia reproduction device is reproduced or edited and offering user convenience to a user. The device for automatically editing the playlist comprises an input unit, an arrangement change switch, a control unit, and a playlist arrangement change unit. The input unit selects a reproduction item or selects a single playlist or a multiple playlist. The input unit inputs a reproduction command. The arrangement change switch inputs a signal for determining the arrangement change of the playlist included in the reproduction item. The control unit controls the arrangement change of the playlist included in the reproduction item according to the playlist selection of the input unit and the arrangement change of the arrangement change switch. The playlist arrangement change unit automatically changes the playlist arrangement included in the reproduction item displayed on a display unit according to the control of the control unit.
