Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a mobile terminal capable of controlling content displayed on a display unit, and a control method thereof. A mobile terminal according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: a transparent display unit which has a first and a second surface which are formed to detect a touch input; a detecting unit which detects a direction which the transparent display unit is directed; and a control unit which determines whether to display information related to an event on the second surface, based on the direction which the transparent display unit is directed, when an event with content outputted on the first surface occurs.
