Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to a power management system for a passenger ship to manage the power supply to the electric appliances prepared in each room or public area in the overall passenger ship and a management method thereof. The power management system includes: a breaker which blocks power supply to the electric appliances prepared in each of a plurality of rooms or public areas; a plurality of emergency lights which are prepared in the passenger ship to meet the conditions of SOLAS; and a central control unit which controls the on/off state of each of the breaker and the emergency lights. By controlling the power supply to each of the electric appliances prepared in each of the rooms or public areas, it is possible to reduce energy consumption and management costs accordingly.
