Zusammenfassung:	A liquid crystal display device according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a liquid crystal panel, a backlight assembly which is located on one side of the liquid crystal panel, a side frame which includes a first surface which surrounds the edge of the liquid crystal panel and a second surface which surrounds the side of the backlight assembly, and an external plate which is attached to the other side of the liquid crystal panel and is attached on the side frame. The height of the first surface of the side frame is nearly equal to the height of the surface of the liquid crystal panel. The width of the first surface of the side frame is wider than the width of the second surface of the side frame.
