Zusammenfassung:The present invention relates to a method for controlling motor driven power steering (MDPS) through a cooperative control between a lane keeping assistance system (LKAS) and a FlexSteer, comprising the steps of: judging, by a control part, whether or not an LKAS control command is input via the button input of an input part; controlling, by the control part, an MDPS torque based on a tuning map corresponding to an LKAS mode if the LKAS control command is input; and interrupting conversion into a FlexSteer mode and keeping the LKAS mode if a FlexSteer control command is input during LKAS mode execution. The present invention can prevent the performance deterioration of the LKAS by preventing collision between a control for preventing the lane departure of a vehicle by the LKAS and an MDPS steering force control by a FlexSteer control.
