Zusammenfassung:The present invention provides a light emitting element with excellent durability and high luminance efficiency. The present invention also provides a novel heterocyclic compound capable of being used in the light emitting element. The light emitting element includes a layer containing a first organic compound with a ring having one pyrimidine ring and one hole transporting frame between a pair of electrodes; a second organic compound which is aromatic amine; and a light emitting material which changes triplet excitation energy by light emission. The first organic compound with the ring having one pyrimidine ring and one hole transporting frame, and the second organic compound which is aromatic amine forms an excitation complex.
