Zusammenfassung:	According to an embodiment of the present invention, a system for managing a shear line comprises a slab forming system which obtains images on the shape of a slab including the crop information of the slab; a surface defect detecting device which obtains the images on surface defects including the information on the defects in the surface of the slab; and a crop cutter which calculates the defected surface part of the slab by combining the images on the surface defects and images on the shape of the slab. The crop cutter sets the crop-cutting position of the slab using the crop information and defected surface part.
