FIRMWARE OPERATING APPARATUS AND METHOD THEREFOR

The present invention discloses a device and a method for operating firmware. The firmware operating device of the present invention comprises a converter, performing Analog Digital (AD) conversion in response to each hardware device; multiple micro control units (MCUs) each receiving signals which have been AD converted by the converter; and an external shared memory commonly connected to each MCU, and renewing and storing the valid firmware of each MCU when a system is shutdown. Each MCU receives the valid firmware from the external shared memory to restore the firmware stored in an internal memory, based on the AD converted signal received from the converter and the AD converted signal received from the converter by a partner MCU.
