The present invention relates to a steam oven having a waste heat recovery structure, which if the internal temperature of the cooking chamber of a housing heated by an electric heater is measured by a temperature sensor and the measured temperature is more than a temperature set to a control unit, can allow the control unit to operate a circulating pump to circulate water to a water current pipe to heat water circulated to the water current pipe and store the heated water in a storage tank while lowering the internal temperature of the cooking chamber by heat exchange between the water current pipe and the internal temperature of the heated cooking chamber. The steam oven having a waste heat recovery structure according to the present invention can quickly generate steam by maintaining water stored in the storage tank in a heated state, can rapidly heat water with a small amount of energy consumption by maintaining water stored in a steam generator in a high temperature state at the time of re-cooking, can maintain a predetermined temperature by lowering the internal temperature of the cooking chamber by using the water current pipe circulating water, can heat water using the water current pipe heated with waste heat in the cooking chamber, and can shorten steam generation time by storing the heated water in the storage tank.
