Zusammenfassung:	The disclosure relates to a device and a method for controlling power of a fuel cell system capable of securing stability and minimizing damage in a fuel cell system. According to the embodiment of the present disclosure, the device for controlling power of a fuel cell system, which has a fuel cell for generating direct current power and a peripheral device connected between the fuel cell and the power system, comprises a power conversion unit for converting the direct current power to alternating current power so that the alternating current power can be applied to the power system; and a control unit for blocking the connection between the power system and the power conversion unit when an abnormality occurs in the power system and applying, to the peripheral device, surplus power other than the power required to operate the fuel cell system in the power generated in the fuel cell.
