A CHISEL FOR CUTTING WOOD

The present invention is composed of a blade unit, a chisel unit, a connecting unit, and a handle unit. The length of the blade unit of a straight-line shape or a round shape is 30-50 mm. The thickness of the chisel unit is 3-10 mm, and the length thereof is 20-35 cm. The connecting unit is formed into a bent shape. The blade unit and the chisel unit are made of an alloy of 40-80 wt% of high-speed steel and 20-60 wt% of chrome steel. The high-speed steel contains 0.6 wt% of carbon, 13-24 wt% of stainless steel, 3.5-4.5 wt% of chrome, 1.5-2 wt% of vanadium, and 0.5-3.5 wt% of molybdenum in respect to 100 wt% of iron. The chrome steel contains 0.5 wt% of carbon and 3-5 wt% of chrome in respect to 100 wt% of iron. Large timbers can be effectively processed, and a curved shape such as a round shape can be easily processed by using the chisel for processing wooden materials.
