APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SEALER DISCHARGE CONTROL IN SEALING WORK ROBOT SYSTEM

The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for controlling sealer discharge in a sealing work robot system. The apparatus for controlling sealer discharge in a sealing work robot system of the present invention performs sealing work by driving a robot body by a robot driving motor. The apparatus includes: a sealer discharge module which is installed in the robot body, and discharges sealer supplied by pumping of a sealer pump through a sealer gun, and adjusts the amount of discharge of the sealer discharged through the sealer gun by controlling sealer discharge pressure according to the control of a robot controller; a sealer pressure sensor which detects the pressure of the sealer transmitted to the sealer gun from the sealer discharge module and then transmits the detected pressure to the robot controller; and the robot controller which controls the driving of the robot body by controlling the robot driving motor, and controls the amount of discharged sealer by controlling the sealer discharge module. By the present invention, the robot controller controls the driving of the sealing work robot body and also controls the amount of discharged sealer, and thus sealing work can be performed smoothly without work failure by controlling the behavior of the robot body and the amount of discharged sealer in a lump in correspondence to the change of the sealing work speed when the sealing work speed is changed.
