The yellow phosphor of the present invention is represented as Zn1-xMnxS1-yOy, wherein Zn is replaced with one or more kinds of metals selected from Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, and Cd, S is replaced with one or more kinds of non-metals selected from Se, F, Cl, N, and P, Mn is replaced with one or more kinds of metals selected from Ce, Pr, Sm, Tb, and Yb, and x and y saftisfies the following equation, 0.05 ≤ x ≤ 0.5, 0.05 ≤ y ≤ 0.5. |
