STERILIZING APPARATUS WITHOUT ADDING SALT AND CONTROL METHOD THREROF

PURPOSE: A sterilizer without adding salt and a control method thereof are provided to facilitate use as adding additional salt is not needed and to minimize maintenance cost and management cost. CONSTITUTION: A sterilizer without adding salt comprises an electrolytic bath (10), a rectifier (20), and a controller (30). The electrolytic bath generates remaining chlorine converting chlorine ions, which are naturally present in the raw water, into hypochlorous acids and hypochlorous acid ions by electrolyzing the raw water which flows in pipes. The rectifier applies direct current to a positive electrode and a negative electrode of the electrolytic bath. The controller controls an amount of current applied to the electrolytic bath according to the concentration of the remaining chlorine to maintain the concentration of the remaining chlorine with a predetermined concentration passing through the electrolytic bath.
