A METHOD AND SYSTEM OF AUTO DETECTING A LANE OFFENSE CAR

PURPOSE: An unmanned enforcement system for an illegal lane change vehicle and an enforcement method automatically clamp down on the illegal lane change vehicle by installing a camera on a street light. CONSTITUTION: A number recognition unit (20) recognizes a number of a vehicle photographed from multiple cameras. A comparison unit (30) determines whether the recognized numbers of the vehicles are same. An image reading unit (40) determines the existence of an illegal lane change vehicle by reading photographed images by camera. A control unit (70) generates enforcement processing data for the vehicle determined as a vehicle in violation from the image reading unit and discards information about a vehicle the number of which is recognized later when the numbers of the vehicles are same.
