Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: An oxidative hair colorant is provided to improve coloring uniformity by a mixture of toluene-2,5-diamine and 2,4-diaminophenoxyethanol. CONSTITUTION: An oxidative hair colorant is prepared by mixing a first agent containing toluene-2,5-diamine and 2,4-diaminophenoxyethanol and a second agent containing an oxidant. Arginine is mixed with the first agent. The oxidative hair colorant is alkaline and has a pH concentration of 11.0 or lower. The amount of arginine is 5 mass% or less. The alkalinity of the first agent is 9.0 or lower.
