STEERING APPARATUS HAVING THREE GEARS AND TILTING APPARATUS FOR THREE WHEEL ELECTRIC VEHICLE HAVING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A steering unit having three gears and a tilting device for a three wheel electric vehicle having the same are provided to enable a driver to easily steer an electric vehicle in a desired direction by using three gears. CONSTITUTION: A tilting device for a three wheel electric vehicle comprises a link unit, a pair of bar members, a pedal unit, a locking unit, and a steering unit (190). The link unit is composed of four or more beams for supporting the bar members. The bar members support a pair of front wheels and tilt the link unit. The pedal unit is connected to the bar members and forcefully lifts the bar members using the pedal force. The locking unit senses the pedal force and restricts or releases the movement of the link unit. The steering unit is installed on a link support plate (190a) for fixing the link unit to be rotated and has three or more gears (191, 192, 193) in which a handle is connected.
