LABELING APPARATUS AND METHOD IN IMAGE PROCESSING SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A labeling device of an image processing system and a method thereof are provided to process a mass image in real time by using a plurality of threads. CONSTITUTION: An initializing unit (20) initializes a pixel value of an image. An X-axis minimum value converting unit (30) converts each pixel value into the minimum value of consecutive coordinates of an X-axis in a label including a pixel. A Y-axis minimum value converting unit (40) converts the converted pixel value into the minimum value of consecutive coordinates of a Y-axis in a label including a pixel. A root determining unit (50) determines a root of each label to the pixel of the label. A root search unit (60) searches the root by using a look-up table.
