Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: A probe for optical coherence tomography is provided to form a pattern for a scan area through a cylindrical piezoelectric element under the control of a user. CONSTITUTION: A probe for optical coherence tomography includes a probe body (10), an optical fiber unit (20), a mirror unit (30) and a ferrule vibration unit (50). The probe body has a given length. The optical fiber unit is supported inside the probe body and emits light forward along the longitudinal direction of the probe body. The mirror unit, which slopes in front of the optical fiber unit, adjusts the light emitted by the optical fiber unit to radiate to a target object and obliquely reflects incident light in order to gather the light which is reflected or scattered on the surface of the target object or inside the target object at the optical fiber unit. The ferrule vibration unit vibrates the front end of the optical fiber unit in a given pattern in order to make the emitted light to the target object form a scan area with a given range. The cylindrical ferrule vibration unit covers the optical fiber unit and comprises a cylindrical piezoelectric element (PZT) whose amplitude varies depending on an applied voltage.
