APPARATUS FOR TRANSPORTING WIND TURBINE BLADES AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: An aero generator blade transportation apparatus and a controlling method for the same are provided to offer stable and convenient transportation by reducing rotation radius of the blade in bent road in order to be flexibly corresponded in drastic slope change or direction change. CONSTITUTION: An aero generator blade transportation apparatus comprises a towing vehicle (10) which tows and moves a freight pallet (20) which transports a blade (B) of the aero generator; a lifting device (30) comprises hydraulic cylinders (21, 22) which are installed on an upper side of the freight pallet to lay down or rise the blade; a blade loading table (40) installed in the freight pallet which lays down or rises the blade while being risen or laid down by the lifting device; an obstacle distance sensor (50) which is installed at the end of the blade and senses the distance of the rear obstacle; front and back cameras (60, 65) which are installed on an upper surface of the towing vehicle and on the rear side of the lifting device and record front and rear sides; a slope measuring device (70) which is installed in the lifting device and measures the gradient of the lifting device; right and left secondary wheel parts (80) which support right and left center of the freight pallet by extending or shrinking in right and left sides when the towing vehicle drives corner; and a control unit (90) which shrinks rotation radius of the blade in bent road.
