APPARATUS FOR CONDUCTING AUTOMATED MAINTENANCE OF A TEST CONTACTOR MODULE

PURPOSE: An automation device is provided to automatically maintain the conductivity of the contact probes of a test contactor module without time-consuming passive interference and to clean a contact probe. CONSTITUTION: A device for maintaining the conductivity of the electric contact points of a test contactor comprises a rotary turret disk (10) with a plurality of test stands (12) for separately holding rotatable electronic devices to the position of the test contactor in order to be in touch with the electric contact points; and one or more maintenance stands including maintenance components positioned in between adjacent test stands on the rotary turret disk. The device automatically cleans the electric contact points of the test contactor and/or combines the maintenance components in order to check the conductivity of the electric contact points.
