Zusammenfassung:PURPOSE: An active laser medium including nanoparticles, a laser device including the same, and a manufacturing method thereof can reduce a critical value for generating laser by including nanoparticle surrounded by a silica shell including light emitting materials. CONSTITUTION: An active laser medium includes metal nanoparticles and a shell surrounding a metal nanoparticle. The shell includes a light emitting material including a light emitting spectrum overlapping the peak of a surface plasmon resonance of the metal nanoparticle. The active laser medium has a film shape of a colloid or a solid. The shell includes silica or a polymer material. The metal nanoparticle is a gold nanoparticle. The light emitting material consists of a plurality of quantum dots overlapping the peak of a surface plasmon resonance of the nanoparticle.
