A NON-VOLATILE MEMORY DEVICE AND A MEMORY CARD HAVING SAME

PURPOSE: A non-volatile memory device and a memory card including the same are provided to improve the reliability of a non-volatile memory by reducing a charge loss. CONSTITUTION: A memory cell array (110) includes a non-volatile memory cell. A battery(150) stores a charged voltage without external power supply. A sensing unit senses the degradation of the non-volatile memory cell of the memory cell array. A trigger unit (170) provides a refresh trigger signal according to a sensed result. The non-volatile memory cell of the memory cell array is refreshed by receiving the trigger signal from the trigger unit and using the charged voltage from the battery.
