Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A bed is provided to improve a safety of a bed by preventing beforehand that a side is mounted on a bed main body in a backward direction. CONSTITUTION: A bed comprises the following steps: in a bed (1), a side (3) is attachably and detachably mounted on side plates (21, 22) of a bed main body (2); the side is mounted on the bed main body by supporting a side supporting part (27) formed on the side by a main body side supporting part (23) formed on the side; in the side plate, the main body side supporting part is formed on a position moved from a thickness center of a board of the side plate; and in the side, a backward direction installation prevention part (28) is formed in a position following an inside or an outside of the side plate in order to prevent that the side is mounted on the side plate in a backward direction.
