Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A three-dimensional (3D) eyeglasses, a display device, and a control method thereof are provided to switch the display device into a two-dimensional (2D) mode or a 3D mode according to whether a user wears the 3D eyeglasses. CONSTITUTION: A photographing unit (108) acquires images including a plurality of difference states of 3D eyeglasses (110) which a user wears in order to watch images displayed in a 3D mode. A transmitting or emitting module (106) controls remotely the 3D eyeglasses to change a state of the 3D eyeglasses. A control unit (104) determines whether the user wears the 3D eyeglasses on the basis of the state of the 3D eyeglasses and controls the 3D display mode operation of a display device (100).
