PURPOSE: A mobile communication terminal and an urgent situation alarming method are provided to receive a call request from a protector terminal without exposing an operating state of the mobile communication terminal, thereby informing the protector terminal of an urgent situation. CONSTITUTION: An urgent situation processing unit (18) enters an emergency mode according to the input of an emergency button through an input unit. If a call request is received from a protector terminal, the urgent situation processing unit blocks the output of a call request signal. The urgent situation processing unit performs automatic call reception about the call request. The urgent situation processing unit sets the level of an incoming call sound through a handset to be the lowest. The urgent situation processing unit transmits location information to the protector terminal.
