METHOD FOR CONFIRMING MANUAL VALVE TAG OF PIPING AND INSTRUMENT DIAGRAM

PURPOSE: A method for verifying a manual valve applied in a pining and instrument diagram (P&ID) is provided to improve reliability of the P&ID diagram, by verifying the human error through a program even though the human error is generated during a process of inputting information of the manual valve. CONSTITUTION: Information including piping class and information of manual valves applied in a piping and instrument diagram are converted into a tag of a specific and unique name and are databased (S10). A reference manual valve tag per piping class is packaged according to the characteristics on the basis of piping and valve specification and is databased (S20). Suitability of the uploading of the manual valve in the database is judged, by comparing the manual valve tag of the constructed database is compared with the reference manual valve tag packaged per piping class (S30). When the suitability judgment of the manual valve is completed, a list including the suitability is generated.
