Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A spindle motor is provided to prevent the inflow of adhesive into a shafting system composing a fluid dynamic pressure bearing by combining a protrusion of a hub with a stopper in a screw type. CONSTITUTION: A spindle motor includes a shaft (11) forming the rotation center of a motor rotor (10), a sleeve (22) rotatably supporting the shaft, a hub (12) including a protrusion (12a) and combined with the shaft, and a stopper (60) inserted into the protrusion to fix and support the hub in an axis direction. Protruding screw threads (60a) are consecutively formed on an outer surface of the stopper and a screw combination groove (12b) for the screw threads is formed on an inner surface of the hub. The stopper has a ring shape.
