Zusammenfassung:	PURPOSE: A method and a device for determining a modeling value for a physical variable in an engine system having an internal combustion engine are provided to determine a modeling value of a physical parameter by finding a solution of a differential equation generated from a discrete of a differential equation by using instantaneous values of determined additional physical parameters. CONSTITUTION: A method for determining a modeling value for a physical variable in an engine system having an internal combustion engine comprises the following steps: an air mass flux exists within a gas guide section by operating an engine system(1); instantaneous values of additional physical parameters are decided; and a modeling value of a physical parameter is determined by finding a solution of a differential equation generated from a discrete of a differential equation by using instantaneous values of additional physical parameters determined earlier.
