LIGHT MONITORING AND CONTROL SYSTEM OF STREET LIGHT AND SECURITY LIGHT FOR SAVING ENERGY USING ZIGBEE NETWORK

PURPOSE: A lamp post monitoring and light controlling device of an energy-saving type street light and a security light which uses a Zigbee network is provided not only to perform functions that monitor and read a lamp post, but also to check electric energy which is consumed by each lamp post and to transmits information on the checked electric energy to a control center, thereby controlling the total power consumption of a street light including the power consumption of each lamp post. CONSTITUTION: A lamp post monitoring and light controlling device includes a lamp post controller(10) which is connected to a street light or a security light; a central control server(20); and a gateway(30) which is communicated through the medium of a central control server with the lamp post controller. The status information of a street light or a security light is transmitted through the gateway to the central control server. A control command, which is made by the central control server, is transmitted through the gateway to the lamp post controller for the control of the lamp post.
