PASSWORD MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A password management system and a management method thereof are provided to prevent damage even though an input password is exposed. CONSTITUTION: A user management unit(12) stores numbers and calculation method calculated according to the digits of a password from a registered user. A random number generation unit(16) generates a random number corresponding to a number item of the password. An output unit(18) displays the random number generated in the random number generation unit so that the user is able to check the random number. A password checking unit(20) performs arithmetic operation of the random number generated in the random number generation unit and a calculation number according to the digits registered by the user through a digit based calculation method, and then registers the result as a disposable password. A password comparison unit(24) checks consistency by comparing the password inputted by the user with the disposable password registered in the password checking unit. A controller(26) authenticates the user if the password inputted by the user coincides with the disposable password.
