ENGINE CONTROL SYSTEM FOR CONSTRUCTION EQUIPMENT

PURPOSE: An engine control system of construction machinery is provided to possessively cope with a low idle state of an engine by increasing an engine RPM at a predetermined level, thereby improving fuel and work efficiencies. CONSTITUTION: An engine control system of construction machinery comprises an RPM selector(100), an operation input unit(200), a speed controller(5), and an equipment controller(3). The RPM selector is an RPM selecting switch or a monitor and receives the input of RPM from a user. The operation input unit includes a hydraulic control lever(1), a steering handle, an electronic steering lever and travelling switch(11), and a gear selector. The equipment controller controls the speed controller to maintain the selected RPM when the input of the operation input unit is sensed.
