CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling the size of cokes is as follows: a step for selecting influence factors having high correlation with dry distillation temperature and the size of the cokes; a step for deducting the correlation between the dry distillation temperature and the size of the cokes with respect to the influence factors; and a step for setting the dry distillation temperature from the deducted correlation.
